LPN 122 - Nursing & Healthcare I- Practice, Issues & Trends

This course provides an overview of practical/vocational nursing and the role of the PN/VN as provider and patient-centered care, patient safety adovcate, member of the health care team, and member of the profession. Content includes knowledge, judgement, and values within a legal/ethical framework. The needs of the patient in relation to spirtiuality and culture are addresed. Principles of growth and development throughout the life cycles are included.
