LPN 112 - Pharmacology for Practical Nurses 2 Credit(s) This course introduces learners to the concepts and general principles of pharmacology. Emphasis is placed on the physical and chemical properties of various pharmacology preparations, their pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties, the therapeutic effects of major drug categories, and health teaching considerations. Learners will apply knowledge gained in this course to selected clinical settings when caring for patients across the lifespan.
