RETH 101 - Introduction to Respiratory Therapy

This is an introduction to respiratory therapy as a profession and to basic clinical assessment and care of patients. Professional aspects relating to the duties, responsibilities, professional ethics and liabilities of respiratory therapy personnel will be discussed. Principles and skills of basic patient care including patient assessment, record keeping, airway management and patient monitoring will be included.
