BA 240 - Business Law 3 Credit(s) This course examines the foundations of U.S. law, the judicial system, civil & criminal law, consideration and acceptance of contracts, contractual breaches and remedies, banking and borrower rights, securities laws, consumer rights amd laws, and the transfer and exclusive protections of real and intellectual property, all within the context of preparing students as business operators or stakeholders. Activities and assessments will explore legal case studies to contextualize concepts and employ logical reasoning and writing structure to determine and explain legal conclusions.
