PHYS 115 - Applied Physics

This course is a study of the basic laws of physics in mechanics and electricity. Emphasis is placed upon the solution of problems relating to statics, dynamics, fluids, circuitry and electrical instruments. Problems are drawn from biology, medicine and engineering. This course includes both a lecture and a lab component.

Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory reading and writing placement or ENG 097 , satisfactory math placement or MATH 101 .
Pre/Corequisite(s): ENG 101 .
