This course is a general introduction to the fundamental concepts in the kinematics and dynamics of translational and rotational motion, vibrations, wave motion, fluids, thermodynamics, heat and energy. This course includes both a lecture and a lab component.

Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory reading and writing placement scores or ENG 097 and (MATH 113 or MATH 110) or permission of instructor.
Pre/Corequisite(s): ENG 101.
