The program of the Electro-Mechanical Technologies, C.A.S., is a one-year program designed to prepare individuals to be maintenance employees in the exciting fields of Electrical or Mechanical maintenance. You will learn about the installation, trouble shooting, and repairing of modern industrial machinery, and how to work alongside other maintenance workers and engineers. The highly technological, integrated and automated manufacturing facilities of today’s modern workplace demand advanced training that we provide. Employers are looking for technicians who have strong interdisciplinary training and skillsets.
Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to:

Describe the basic principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Safely perform basic welding practices used in industrial applications.

Apply scientific principles to electrical systems.

Describe the basic principles of refrigeration systems.

Describe the various mechanical components used in modern machinery.

Demonstrate safe practices and procedures to avoid common industrial hazards.

Interpret electrical and mechanical prints and other documentation.
