MATH 108 - College Algebra 4 Credit(s) College Algebra is a course that consists of the algebraic, graphic, numeric, and modeling approach to the study of polynomials, equations, inequalities, and functions, with or without technology, and with appropriate symbolic manipulation skills. It includes the use of appropriate mathematical language, including symbolism, to define, evaluate, and analyze the characteristics of functions.
Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory algebra placement test scores or MATH 101 . Pre/Corequisite(s): Satisfactory reading and writing placement test scores or ENG 097 or ENG 101 , or ENG 115 .
