RETH 201 - Critical Care I

This course covers the function and principles of operation of adult volume and pressure ventilators; Noninvasive Positive pressure ventilators, high frequency ventilators; and continuous positive airway pressure devices will be reviewed. Concentration will be on specific controls, internal and external circuitry, monitoring systems, alarms and proper patient/ventilator interaction.
