RETH 107 - Cardiopulmonary & Renal Anatomy & Physiology 5 Credit(s) This course contains discussion of the anatomy & physiology of the pulmonary, cardiac and renal systems. Physiologic topics include mechanics of breathing, pulmonary defense mechanisms, gas diffusion, gas transport, cardiac anatomy, the cardiac electro-conductive system, circulatory system, fluid and electrolyte balance, aid-base regulation, and interaction of the pulmonary, cardiac and renal systems. This course is designed for respiratory therapy major as these sciences apply to the practice of Respiratory Care
