RETH 205 - Critical Care II

The theory and application of mechanical ventilation techniques with emphasis on physiologic effects for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients will be discussed. Patient initiation, evaluation, maintenance and weaning techniques will be incorporated. Special emphasis is placed on cardiac testing, hemodynamic monitoring and respiratory calculations will be practiced.

Prerequisite(s): RETH 201 , RETH 203 , and RETH 204.
