MATH 204 - Mathematics for Elementary Teachers I

This course is recommended for students interested in teaching in grades K-9. The topics include problem solving, algebraic thinking,  sets and set operations, functions, operations with whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, decimal numbers, and elementary number theory. 

Pre/Corequisite(s): Satisfactory math placement or MATH 204S  and satisfactory reading and writing placement or ENG 097  or ENG 101  or ENG 115  .
