CRJ 201 - Introduction to Corrections 3 Credit(s) This course is an in-depth examination of the role corrections plays within the criminal justice system. Prison types, the role of classification, care and treatment issues and constitutional requirements are examined. Additionally, the role of probation and parole and how sentencing alternatives impact on the system is addressed.
Pre/Corequisite(s): Satisfactory reading and writing placement test scores or ENG 097 or ENG 101 .
