CIT 245 - Network Security Fundamentals 3 Credit(s) This course acquaints students with the risks and attacks facing computers and networks today and the tools and mindset necessary to defend against them. Various concepts such as password quality, authentication methods, encryption and network design will be used to illustrate proper security. Students will also learn about vulnerability assessment and risk mitigation.
