BIO 117 - Microbiology 4 Credit(s) This course is a one-semester course on the structure, physiology, reproduction and taxonomy of different microbes. Bacteria and viruses are considered in detail. Control of microorganisms, immunology and diseases caused by pathogenic organisms is also discussed. Students must register for a lecture and laboratory section.
Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory reading and writing placement test scores or ENG 097 . Pre/Corequisite(s): ENG 101 .
