The job-related experience provides supervised, structured learning opportunities in professional settings specific to the student’s chosen area of interest. Students must request the approval of an employer or a research mentor before registering for this course. A written or a formal oral reflection on the internship experiences and a minimum of 40 documented contact hours per credit hour are required at the end of the internship.
