CIT 245 - Information Security Fundamentals

This course is designed to challenge students to understand hackers’ mentality to perform network vulnerability and risk assessments to implement processes to protect an organization’s assets against danger, damage, loss, and criminal activity. This course also introduces students to network infrastructure threats, access and account management, cryptography and PKI, and virtualization cloud security concepts.

Prerequisite(s): CIT 142   and CIT 220 ​ 
Pre/Corequisite(s): CIT 106   or CIT 184
